With a degree in water resources engineering, Abílio Castro has over 20 years of experience in the development of hydraulic, sanitation and water resources studies and projects, contributing to the improvement of the population quality of life in different parts of the world.
Throughout his professional career, he assumed the management of large-scale and complexity projects, with multidisciplinary teams, related to wastewater and storm water sewerage systems, water supply and distribution systems, hydroelectric power stations, water resources management and flood control.
Abilio Castro assumed the leadership of the Water Utilities business unit in 2020.
