He specialised in Structural Engineering at the IST, with a Master's thesis on construction systems based on the use of precast reinforced concrete components. He has more than 11 years' experience in projects for reinforced concrete structures and metallic structures, working as Project Designer and Project Coordinator. From his work as Project Coordinator, we highlight the control and development of technical studies and their management via the allocation of human and material resources.
From his work as a Project Designer, we highlight the preparation and revision of standard and special structures, with a high profile and complexity, in several countries, particularly in Portugal and Brazil. In Portugal, we highlight the work developed for the new Braga and Vila Franca de Xira hospitals. In Brazil, we highlight the projects for the Goiânia Shopping Centre, for SONAE SIERRA BRASIL, and the Pinto Martins Airport in Fortaleza, for INFRAERO. He has recently been focusing on the application of the BIM principles to project development.
